Life Hack Tuesday: Fit into those shoes!

Hey Dolls,

We all know how sale days get, gathering all the things you like, picking up things with the best deals & making sure you don't pick up a damaged piece or leave anything you want for others. I bought this pair of shoes from sale & in a hurry the salesman gave me 1 shoe from the pair a size smaller than my actual size, when I realized and went back, the pieces was sold out, So yes! I have a pair of shoe in my closet which is not of the same size.

Do you have a pair of shoe that you love but its a little tight on some areas of your feet or you really want to buy this beautiful pair you had your eyes on but is not available in your size then this is the post for you!

All you need is a hair dryer, pair of socks & your shoes, you can skip the sock if you fit into the shoes but just want it to be more comfortable, wear your socks and slip your feet into the shoe, then blow dry the shoes focusing on the tighter areas, repeat as required, then remove your socks, you'll easily fit into the shoes, My sister does it all the time to fit into my shoes! It works with all the fabrics and vinyl!
Take care of your shoes by storing them in dust free area.

Liked the post? Do let me know via twitter or instagram & if you have a sale disaster you can share your story using #bombaygirl07 on twitter and i'll try giving a solution to it. Let me know if you have a post idea. Keep smiling and have lots of green tea!

XOXO,
Anshika Agarwal.

Get ready with me for Valentines day!

Hey dolls,

Don't we all wish to drive our better-halve's all crazy on valentines? And for girls their outfit for the day also forms a small part of the entire plan, of surprising their guy! So it has to be perfect!

Thus I thought why not lets get ready together?
Its always better to decide the outfit one day in advance. That helps prevent your guy for waiting for those 5 minutes to get over!

So I hope you all have almost decided your outfit by now. Or at least have this one dress, top, shorts maybe? In mind, which you have been waiting to wear. Here is what I have chosen for my day.

Outfit
Bag - Chanel, Shoes - Aldo, Blouse - Debenhams, Shorts - Forever 21.

Makeup
Foundation - MAC Pro Longwear SPF 10. Shade NC42
Concealer - MAC Studio finish concealer. Shade NC44
Eyes- Urban Decay's Naked palette 1 - Shades - Virgin, Buck, Smog, Sidecar, Darkhorse.
         Maybelline's gel eyeliner.
Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Multi Dimensional Mascara #10 Noir
Lips- MAC - Kinda Sexy.
Bronzer - MAC Bronzing powder - Golden
Highlighter - MAC Eyeshadow - Dazzlelight.
Fix+ - MAC

I have clubbed my semi net black top with my cream lace shorts along with peep toes black heels and a sling!
The outfit is simple, the collar on the top adds more style to the look, The bag compliments the entire look as well as matches the little sequins on the collar. And The black heels play their "we can rock any outfit" role very well!
This outfit is simple to put together, comfortable and yet very chic and sexy!
Besides its chic properties this outfit is also event friendly, It will be your friend from a brunch to a sleepover!

I hope this post helped you clear your head and narrow down to fewer options! Feel free to post pictures of your outfit, share ideas or post in queries about your outfit for tomorrow. Do Instagram your outfits and use #GetReadyWithAnshika and I will surely comment on your pictures. Follow me on my links by clicking on the top right buttons.

Happy valentines day dolls! Have a wonderful evening.

Life Hack Tuesdays; Turn around your hangers to clean out your closet.

Hey dolls,

Like I said in my previous post Makeup Expiration its a fact, we don't like throwing our things. Lets face it, we all have clothes we don’t wear its probably is'nt even that pretty but when we think about throwing them a 100 ways to wear it pops up in our head but all it actually does is takes up unnecessary closet space.

So heres a little trick to help you know to know which of them are useful and which of them are'nt..

Place your hangers the opposite way, it should look like this to you

After you use an article of clothing, hang it up regularly.

By the end of the year (or season), Remove the clothes that are still hanging backward, You  can revamp it and repeat the procedure but make sure you don't put it back in the closet without revamping them, Donating them is a good idea too.

I'll be posting some revamping idea for your old clothes, so stay tuned! Till then, drink a lot of water, go organize and have a lovely day! My new post will be up tomorrow, Make sure to check it out and do leave a comment.

XOXO,
Anshika Agarwal.

Must watch list: "The Return"

Coco Chanel has always inspired me like no other, I have always looked up to her style and dreamt of dressing up like her for every single day of my life. I'm quite sure the inception of my love for pearls was a Chanel poster.
Her self-confidence, her enthusiasm, her courage, her passion and the way she overcame hurdles through hard work and dealt with criticism in the film deserves a salute. I'm stuck to every Coco Chanel quote that was worked in. Please watch.
